The 83rd Annual General Meeting (‘AGM’) of the Members of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (the Chamber) was held on September 30, 2023 at the Registered Office of the Chamber situated at Chamber Building, Bunder, Mangaluru. CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu was elected as the new President of KCCI. Shri Anand G Pai was elected as the Vice-President, CA Abdur Rahman Musba as the Honorary Treasurer, Shri P. B. Ahmed Mudassar and Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor were elected as Honorary Secretaries. Shri Nitte Yathiraj Shetty, Shri Amith Ramachandra, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar, Shri Ashith B. Hegde, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed, Shri B. A. Nazeer, Ms. Athmika Amin, Shri Aditya Padmanabha Pai, Shri Vincent Cutinha, CA Nandagopal Shenoy, Shri Jeethan Allen Sequeira and Shri Sujir Prasad Nayak were elected as the Directors of the KCCI.

The Renovated Chamber Building was inaugurated on Monday, 25th September 2023 by Shri Sanjay Varma Managing Director (Additional Charge) & Director (Refinery) Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd., Mangaluru. President Shri Ganesh Kamath, Vice President – Shri Ananthesh V Prabhu, Hon. Secretaries Shri B.A. Nazeer and Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar , Board of Directors, Past Presidents, Sub Committee heads, KCCI Members & other invitees were present on the occasion. The team of Ar. Niren Jain executed a magnificent makeover of our chamber building.

Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM) in association with Kanara Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) organized CAREER EXPO – 2023 (Job Fair) at their campus in Mangaluru. Students from various colleges across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts attended the Job Fair. KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath inaugurated the event. Also present on the occasion were KCCI Director and In-charge of Industry Academia Interconnect, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar along with other dignitaries. KCCI President also unveiled the ribbon of MSNIM on their stepping into 25th year of education.
