23-01-2024 – 3.00 p. m. – KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu virtually attended the 78th Board meeting of Mangalore Special Economic Zone Ltd. (MSEZL).
4.00 p. m. – The First Meeting of the Labour Sub-Committee of KCCI was convened at the Conference Room of KCCI. The meeting was chaired by Chairman of the committee,       Shri Shamlal Yermal. Others who attended the meeting were KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu, Vice-President, Shri Anand G. Pai, Hon. Treasurer, CA Abdur Rahman Musba, Hon. Secretaries, Shri P.B. 4.30 p. m. – The First Meeting of Infrastructure Urban Development and Smart City Sub-Committee of KCCI was convened at the Conference Room of KCCI. 24-01-2024 – 9.30 a. m. – Namma Kudla 24X7, local television channel organized 250th episode of Business Tonic powered by St. Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru at Fr.  L F Rasquinha Hall. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Venkata Ramana Akkaraju, Chairman, New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA), Mangaluru. KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu was one of the Chief Guests on the occasion. Talk on ‘New Mangalore Port – Lifeline of Karnataka was presented by Shri Sathish Kumar, Traffic Manager, NMPA and Shri Pramod Kumar Dash, Sr. Deputy Traffic Manager, NMPA. CA S.S. Nayak, anchored the event.
5.00 p. m. – An interactive meeting was held with Hon’ble Mr. Justice, M. Karpaga Vinayagam, Former High Court Chief Justice, former Chairperson of the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity and Petroleum and presently designated Senior Advocate Supreme Court along with Adv. K. V. Muthu, Advocate on record, Supreme Court of India at the Conference room of KCCI. KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu, Hon. Secretaries, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar and Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor, Past President, Shri Isaac Vas and and few Directors were present on the occasion.
25-01- 2024 – 4.00 p. m. – The Fourth meeting of KCCI Knowledge Centre, the Focus Area of KCCI for the year 2023-24 was held at the Conference Room of KCCI. The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Focus Area, CA Nandagopal Shenoy. The meeting was attended by KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu, Vice-President, Shri Anand G. Pai, Hon. Secretaries, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar and Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor and special invitee, Prof. CA. Lional Aranha.
27-01-2024 – 3.00 p. m. – The Chief Commissioner of Customs, Karnataka Zone, celebrated International Customs Day 2024 at Father Muller Convention Center, Mangaluru. Chief Guest on the occasion was Shri Jayaram Raipura, IRS., Chief Executive Officer, Karnataka Maritime Board, Govt. of Karnataka. Guest of Honour on the occasion was DIG Praveen Kumar Mishra, District Commander, No. 3 Coast Guard District, Karnataka. Event was presided by Smt. V. Usha, IRS, Chief Commissioner of Customs, Karnataka Zone. KCCI Director, Shri Jeethan Allen Sequiera representing Cargolinks, Mangaluru was awarded as Best Customs Broker of Bengaluru Customs Zone, for the year 2022-23 on this occasion. KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu and Hon. Secretary, Shri P. B. Ahmed Mudassar participated in the event.
02-02-2024 – 2.00 p. m. – The Institute of Management & Commerce (IMC), Srinivas University (SU), Mangaluru organized Budget Analysis – 2024 at their Gallery Hall.  The Guest Speakers on the occasion were KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu and Senior Manager, Credit Sections – Karnataka Bank Ltd., Mangalore, Shri Balwinder Singh. Prof. Venkatesh S. Amin, Dean, IMC, SU was also present on the occasion among other dignitaries.
4.00 p. m. – Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Mangaluru organized a stakeholders Roundtable discussion on Plastic Sector at Novigo Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Mangaluru. The meeting was chaired by CII, Mangaluru Chapter Chairman, Shri Praveen Kumar Kalbavi. KCCI was represented by its Director,     Shri B.A. Nazeer.
05-02-2024 – 1.15 p. m. – Energy Minister of Karnataka, Shri K. J. George held a meeting at MESCOM Corporate Office, Mangaluru at its conference hall. Various trade associations attended the meeting. KCCI was represented by its President CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu and Hon. Secretary Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar. KCCI Director Shri B.A. Nazeer briefed the minister about suggestions from KCCI related to Power for the benefit of trade and commerce.
06-02-2024 – 10.00 a. m. – Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) organized Mangaluru Technovenza 3.0 at TMA Pai International Convention Centre, Mangaluru. KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu and Director, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar attended the event.
2.30 p. m. – KCCI organized a talk on How to Handle GST Department Action – Alternative Approach (Learn the unknown benefits of GST law for smooth running of the business) at the Conference Room of KCCI. KCCI President CA Ananthesh V Prabhu delivered the Welcome address. KCCI Vice-President, Shri Anand G. Pai introduced the speakers,          CA Vikas Shenoy, Partner, Ganesh & Sudhir Chartered Accountants and CA Abdur Rahman Musba, Hon. Treasurer, KCCI. Business Owners, Chartered Accountants and Tax Practitioners attended the session. The vote of thanks was rendered by Hon. Secretary, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar.
07-02-2024 – 2.30 p. m. – KCCI organized a Seminar on Business Automation – Work Smarter using Business Automation Tools, at the Meeting Hall of KCCI. KCCI President CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu delivered the Welcome address. KCCI Hon. Secretary,  Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar introduced the speakers,      Shri Avdhut Padwalkar, Senior Financial and Market Research Analyst, Mangal Analytics and Research Consulting Pvt. Ltd. and Shri Ashutosh Kharangate, MD and Founder, Mangal Analytics and Research Consulting Pvt. Ltd. who held sessions with the audience on various business automation tools. Most of the Business Owners, staff and students of the educational institutions attended the event. The event concluded with the Vote of thanks rendered by Hon. Secretary, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor.
09-02-2024 – 3.00 p. m. – Evolve, a Women Entrepreneur Association organized BizInsight 2024 at Ajantha Business Centre, Mangaluru. The event was inaugurated by Smt. K. Ratna Prabha IAS (Retd.), Founder of Ubuntu Consortium. Evolve Chairperson, Smt. Vathika Pai presented the Welcome address. Session on Sales Maven: Entrepreneurs’ Guide to Triumph was held by Dr. Sangitaa G. Kamath (Ph.D), Founder & Managing Director of Step Upp Advisors LLP, Pune. A session on Entrepreneur’s Journey: Succeed – Fail? was addressed by Shri V. Balaji Bhat, Strategy Advisor, Mentor, Investor, Goa. KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu, Directors, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar, Shri Aditya Pai and Ms. Athmika Amin were present on the occasion.
12-02-2024 – 10.00 a. m – Public Hearing of Mangalore Electricity Supply Company (MESCOM) tariff was held at the conference room of MESCOM Corporate office, Mangaluru. Shri P. Ravi Kumar, Chairman of Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) attended the meeting virtually. Shri M. D.  Ravi, Member of KERC, Smt. D. Padmavathi, Managing Director of MESCOM, Mangaluru, were present at the meeting. KCCI was represented by its President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu, Hon. Treasurer, CA Abdur Rahman Musba and Director, Shri B. A. Nazeer who referred the objections to the tariff in the meeting held.
14-02-2024 – 3.00 p. m. – The Eleventh Meeting of the Board of Directors of KCCI for the financial year 2023-24 and the Fifth Meeting of the present Committee was held at the Board room of KCCI. CA Ananthesh V Prabhu, President, KCCI chaired the meeting in the presence of office bearers, Directors and spe cial invitees.
15-02-2024 – 11.30 a. m. – Dakshina Kannada District Skill Mission committee meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Mangaluru. The meeting was chaired by In-charge Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shri Raju K.  KCCI was represented by its Chief Operating Officer, Shri Mytreya A.
16-02-2024 – 3.45 p. m. – Two days National Workshop on Harnessing Potential of Fisheries in Inland States was organized by NITI Aayog and Govt. of Andhra Pradesh at Green Park, Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. KCCI Director, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed was one of the speakers on the occasion who spoke on Challenges of Fish Feed Industry. Dr. Seediri Appalaraju, Hon’ble Minister of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Neelam Patel, Senior Advisor (Agriculture), NITI Aayog and other dignitaries were present at the event and addressed the gathering.
17-02-2024 – 10.15 a. m. – Decade of Union Budgets- Analysis and Assessment – “Turning Numbers into Insights: Precision, Planning, Prosperity”, a panel discussion was organized by the PG Department of Business Administration, Alva’s Institute of Engineering & Technology, Shobavana Campus, Mijar, in association with Kassia, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), KCCI, Young Indians (Yi), TIE, Mangalore. KCCI Director, Shri B. A. Nazir was one of the panelists at this event.
20-02-2024 – 3.00 p. m. – KCCI organized a seminar on ‘Karnataka Government Notification Dated 10.01.2024 on Compulsory Gratuity – Based Insurance’. KCCI President CA Ananthesh V Prabhu delivered the welcome address. Chairman of Labour Sub-committee of KCCI, Shri Shamlal Yermal addressed the gathering on the relevance of the topic. KCCI Vice-President, Shri Anand G. Pai introduced the speakers to the audience. Ms. Wilma Elizabeth Tauro, Labour Officer, Subdivision 2, Mangaluru, spoke on, ‘Legal requirements and establishment cover under Compulsory Gratuity Scheme’. Ms. C.V. Prabha, Divisional Manager, LIC of India, Mangaluru, spoke on ‘Modalities of the Insurance Scheme offered by LIC and CA Sriram V. Rao, Partner, Nitin J. Shetty & Co. spoke on ‘Accounting and Income Tax issues for Gratuity Trust and Gratuity Scheme without Trust’. Business owners, HR professionals, accountants, staff and students of various educational institutions participated in the seminar. The event was concluded with the vote of thanks by Hon. Secretary of KCCI, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar.
– 6.00 p. m. – Centre for Entrepreneurship Opportunities & Learning (CEOL) held its Governing Body Meeting for the year 2023-24 at CEOL Conference Hall, Mangaluru. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner of Mangaluru, Shri Mullai Muhilan MP. KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu and Hon. Secretary, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar attended the meeting.
21-02-2024 – 9.00 a. m. – Insignia 2024 – “BizSpectra” – Exploring Business Horizons was organized by the Post Graduate Department of Business Administration of St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University) Institute of Management and IT – AIMIT, Mangaluru. The event was held at their Arthur Shenoi Auditorium. Chief Guest on the occasion was KCCI Vice President, Shri Anand G Pai. Guest of Honour was Dr. Dennis Fernandes, Director, Arrupe Block, SAU. Organizing Committee present on stage was Rev. Dr. Fr. Praveen Martis SJ, Vice Chancellor, St. Aloysius University, Dr. Fr. Melwyn Pinto SJ, Director, AIMIT, Dr. Rajani Suresh, Dean, MBA, Dr. Fr. 9.30 a. m. – A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between KCCI and SDM College of Business Management Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research, Mangaluru at the Director’s Chamber of the college. CA Ananthesh V Prabhu, KCCI President and Dr. Seema S Shenoy, Director of the SDM college of Business Management Post Graduate Centre, exchanged the MoU.
10.00 a. m. – KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu inaugurated the Student Consortium 2023-24 of SDM College of Business Management Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research, Mangaluru at the college auditorium. Alumni Guest for the event was Shri Shravan S Shetty, Assistant Vice President, Kotak Mahindra, Mangaluru. 22-02-2024 – 4.30 p. m. – Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Mangaluru District Annual Meeting 2023-24 was held at Hotel Vivanta, Mangaluru. Keynote speakers for the event were Shri Vijaykrishnan Venkatesan, Chairman, CII Karnataka State Council & Managing Director, Kennametal India Ltd., and Shri Chandra Mohan B M, Deputy General Manager, Technical Functions, Bosch Ltd., who spoke on Harnessing AI for Competitive Advantage in Business. KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu was present at the event.
23-02-2023 – 2.30 p. m. – KCCI organized a comprehensive GST Training Program for beginners at KCCI Meeting Hall, Mangaluru. KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu, delivered the welcome address. Chairman of GST Sub-committee of KCCI, CA Keshava Ballakuraya addressed the audience on the importance of the topic in their career. 02-12-2023 – 9.30 a. m. – One day workshop on Export and Import Documentation & Procedures was organized by KCCI in association with Mangalore Custom House Agents Association (CHA). The event was inaugurated by Dr. Mithosh Raghavan P, Deputy Commissioner, Customs, Mangaluru. KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu presented the Welcome address. CHA President, Shri Philip C. C. addressed the audience on the importance of the workshop. KCCI Hon. Secretary, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor introduced the Chief Guest to the members. Vote of thanks was delivered by Hon. Secretary, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar. The event was inaugurated by former Minister, Govt. of Karnataka,        Shri C. T. Ravi. President of Campco, Shri Kishore Kumar Kodgi was also present as the Guest of Honour at the event.
07-12-2023 – 10.58 a. m. – Abstract Décor, authorized Dealer of iSit Office Space Solutions opened their new showroom at Kuntikana, Mangaluru. KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu was the Chief Guest at the event. Founder of iSit Office Space Solutions Pvt. Limited, Shri Kingshuk Gon was the Guest of Honour. Present on the occasion were the Partners of Abstract Décor of Shri Suchit Ranjan and Shri Sumit Ranjan.
11.00 a. m. – 163rd Divisional Railway Users’ Consultative Committee (DRUCC) meeting was held at Valluvanad Hall, DRM Office, Palakkad. The meeting was chaired by Divisional Railway Manager, Phalghat Division, Shri Arun Kumar  Chaturvedi along with Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and all related officials of DRUCC. KCCI representative member of DRUCC, Shri Ahmed Bawa attended the meeting.
09-12-2023 – 10.30 a. m. – KCCI organized a Symposium on Incubation Facilities for Startups – Creating Impact in the Startups EcoSystem at the Meeting Hall of KCCI. The main speaker for the event was Dr. Inv. Shivakiran Makam, CEO, Atal Incubation Centre, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur (A.P). KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu presented the welcome address. KCCI Startups sub-committee Chairman, Shri Vishwas Shishir narrated the relevance of event for many students and other members who wish to fulfil their aspirations of having their startup ventures. KCCI Hon. Secretary, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar introduced the speaker to the audience. The talk was followed by a panel discussion moderated by Shri Anand Kannan, Director, Global Services, IFIA, Bengaluru. The moderator and panellists were introduced by Shri Kartik Attavar, member of Startup Sub-committee of KCCI. The panellists included, Shri Asim Syed Sheeraz, CEO, Yenepoya Technology Incubator, Ms. Deepthi Prabhu, Co-Founder, Herb Fusion, Ms. Jnanashree Arjun Rao, Senior Branch Manager, Bank of Baroda, Bondel branch. 3.45 p. m. The First Meeting of the Membership Services Sub-Committee of KCCI for the year 2023-24 was convened at the Conference Hall of KCCI. 15-12-2023 – 3.30 p. m. – A Seminar on NSE Emerge – Igniting SME Success was held by KCCI in association with Mangaluru Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) at the Meeting Hall of KCCI. KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu delivered the welcome address. KCCI Vice-President, Shri Anand G. Pai introduced the speaker, Shri Himanshu Srivastava, Senior Manager, National Stock Exchange Ltd., Bengaluru to the audience. ICAI Chairman, CA Gautham Nayak M also spoke on the importance of the topic. Members from different associations, Institution Heads and students from various colleges attended the event. 06-08-2023 – 8.30 a. m – Divisional Railway Manager, Phalghat Division, Shri Mukund R Ramaswany invited KCCI representative member of Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committees (DRUCC), Shri Ahmed Bawa at Mangaluru Central Railway Station to brief about the Laying of Foundation Stones for Redevelopment of 508 Railway Stations to be held at Mangaluru Junction railway station. Also present was member, DRUCC, Shri Hanumath Kamath.
11.00 a. m. – Laying of Foundation Stones for Redevelopment of 508 Railway Stations (under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme) was organized by Chairman & CEO, Railway Board, Ministry of Railways. The Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the event through video conference in the august presence of Union Minister of Railways, Communications, Electronics & Information Technology, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw. The event was also physically held at Mangaluru Junction Railway Station which has been selected under the redevelopment scheme. 14-06-2023 – 9.00 a. m. – Fourth meeting of the Members’ day sub-committee of KCCI for the year 2022-23 was held at the conference room of KCCI. The meeting was chaired by the Convener of Members’ Day and Vice-President of KCCI, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu. The meeting was attended by the KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath, Hon. 17-06-2023 – 6.30 p. m. – KCCI Conclave 2023 was held at Dr. T.M.A Pai International Convention Centre, Mangaluru. KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath welcomed the guests to the event. The Past Presidents of KCCI were felicitated during this event. Shri Harish Bijoor, CEO, Harish Bijoor Consults Inc, Bengaluru was the Speaker on this occasion who addressed the gathering on the importance of branding. He was introduced by Vice-President and Convenor of the Conclave Shri Ananthesh V. Prabhu. The event was compered by the Past President of KCCI, Smt. 19-06-2023 – 7.00 p. m. – Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI), Mangalore organized an Installation Ceremony of Shri Vinod A. R. Pinto as President CREDAI Mangalore 2023-25 along with a team of Office Bearers at Hotel Ocean Pearl, Mangaluru. Chief Guests on the occasion were Shri U T Khader, Hon’ble Speaker of Legislative Assembly and Shri Nalin Kumar Kateel, Hon’ble Member of Parliament. 21-06-2023 – 4.30 p. m. – The Third Meeting of the Board of KCCI for the financial year 2023-24 and the Ninth Meeting of the present committee of KCCI was held at the Board Room of KCCI. Shri M. Ganesh Kamath, President, KCCI chaired the meeting in the presence of Office Bearers, Directors and special invitees.
22-06-2023 – 5.30 p. m. – KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath called on the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada District, Shri Mullai Muhilan MP at DC’s office, Mangaluru. KCCI President briefed about the chamber activities and also submitted a memorandum to him on recent power hikes. KCCI Hon. Secretary, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar and Director, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed were also present.
23-06-2023 – 9.00 a. m. – KCCI attended the meeting called by the Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of Karnataka and District In-charge Minister, Shri Dinesh Gundu Rao at Hotel Vivanta, Mangaluru. Various trade bodies and other associations were part of the meeting. KCCI President, Shri M.Ganesh Kamath briefed the Minister about various issues faced by the district and handed over a memorandum to him. Others who represented KCCI were Vice President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu, Hon. Treasurer, CA Abdur Rahman Musba, Hon. Secretary, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar, Director, Shri Jeethan Allen Sequiera and Past President, Shri Isaac Vas. Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, Shri U. T. 26-06-2023 – 5.00 p. m. – SDM College of Business Management Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research, Mangalore had their annual day celebration, ‘Sanketah 2023” at their auditorium. KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath was the Chief Guest on this occasion. MLA, Mangaluru City, South, Shri D. Vedavyas Kamath was the Guest of Honour. The Alumni Chief Guest on this occasion was Shri Ashray P. Bhandary, Director, Bhandary School Book Pvt. Ltd.
27-06-2023 – 4.00 p. m. – KCCI had an interactive session with the officials of Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) was held at the Meeting Hall of KCCI. KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath presented his welcome address. Shri Vikram Falodiya, Head Terminal and Business Development, MIA addressed the members on the airport services for passengers and also EXIM related cargo services. KCCI put forth various suggestions for the betterment of services by the airport officials. Members of KCCI who were present also expressed their concerns on the airport services. KCCI Vice- President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu, Hon Secretaries, Shri B.A Nazeer and Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar and other Directors of KCCI were present on the occasion. Other officials from the airport present were, Shri J Naik, Lead Cargo and Shri Henry Fernandes, Head (Commercial), MIA.
30-06-2023 – 11.30 a. m. – KCCI Office Assistant, Shri Ashok Kumar who rendered 36 years of service at KCCI was given a farewell send off on his retirement day at the KCCI Meeting Hall. KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath congratulated on his dedicated service to the organization. KCCI Vice President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu also spoke on this occasion. Present on the occasion were KCCI Directors, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed, CA Nandagopal Shenoy, Shri P.B. 3.00 p. m. – The Inauguration of the Students’ Council of St. Aloysius PU College, Mangaluru, was held at their Loyola Hall. KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Rector of St. Aloysius Institutions, Rev. Fr. Melwin Pinto SJ presided over.
04-07-2023 – 3.00 p. m. – Members of the Editorial board met with the officials of Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) at airport premises. The meeting was chaired by Shri Mukesh Nankani, Chief Airport Officer, MIA. The airport officials expressed their interest collaborating with KCCI and other trade bodies in improving the infrastructure of the airport and flow of passengers into the city. KCCI was represented by Members of the Editorial board – Director and Editor, Ms. Athmika Amin, Director and Associate Editor, Shri Aditya Pai, Past President Smt. Vathika Pai and Ms. Ashrika Amin. Other officials from the airport were, Shri Henry Fernandes (Head Commercial), Shri Vipin Nair (Head -HR), Shri Srikanth Tata (Head – Operation) and Shri Jagannath (Manager -Cargo).
07-07-2023 – 11.00 a. m. – Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, Regional Office, Mangaluru and New Mangaluru Port Authority conducted Environmental Public Hearing in respect of proposed development of Multipurpose Cargo Berth (Berth No. 17) in the existing NMPA premises, Panambur village, Mangaluru. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada District, Shri Mullai Muhilan MP at the Meeting Hall of DC office, Mangaluru. 14-07-2023 – 10.00 a. m. – Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Karnataka organized Ports Conference 2023 – “PORTs – Backbone of Indian Economy and Athmanirbhar Bharat” at Hotel Vivanta, Mangaluru. CII Karnataka State Council President, Shri Vijaykrishnan Venkateshan, CII Mangalore Chapter Chairman, Shri Praveen Kalbhavi, Minister for Fisheries, Ports and Inland Water Transport, Shri Mankal Vaidya, Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada, Shri Mullai Muhilan MP, New Mangalore Port Authority Chairman, Shri Venkata Ramana Akkaraju and other dignitaries were present on stage. KCCI Director Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed, Director and Chairman of EXIM Cell of KCCI, Shri Jeethen Sequiera and Director, Shri Amit Ramachandra attended the event.
4.00 p. m. – KCCI organized an interactive session on Employer Based Commute Incentive Toolkit – a key step towards promoting sustainable transport in Mangaluru, a study initiated by Directorate of Urban Land Transport (DULT) and Urban Development Department, Govt. of Karnataka. KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath delivered the Welcome address. The session was addressed by Ar. Niren Jain, Architect and Environmental Planner and Ar. Kumar Gaurav, Assistant Prof., Manipal School of Architecture and Planning and an Urban Planner. KCCI Director Shri P. B. Ahmed Mudassar introduced the speakers to the members. Other Directors of KCCI, Shri Amit Ramachandra, Shri Anand Pai, Shri Vincent Cutina and Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor were also present. Members of KCCI and other trade bodies were also present.
