08-04-2025 11.45 a. m. Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed, Director, KCCI participated virtually in Government of India’s Outreach Programme with Fish and Shrimp Farmers and Seafood Exporters. The meeting was co-chaired by Shri Sagar Mehra, Joint Secretary (Inland Fisheries), Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, and Ms. Neetu Prasad, Joint Secretary (Marine Fisheries), Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India. The meeting was convened to deliberate on the impact of the reciprocal tariff imposed by the United States and to discuss potential relief measures.  A detailed discussion was held on the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah-Yojana (PMMKSSY), a Central Sector Sub-Scheme under PMMSY & Fisheries and Aquaculture Development Fund (FIDF).   The deliberations focused on both immediate relief and long-term strategies to support the aquaculture sector.
31-05-2025 6.30 p. m. The Swastika Awards Night 2025 was organized by Swastika National Business School at Swastika Water Front, Mangaluru. The awards were presented by the Guests on the occasion, Shri Anand G. Pai, President, KCCI, Shri N. Arun Padiyar, President, Kanara Industries Association (KIA), Shri Natraj Hegde, Chairman, CII Mangaluru District among other guests who were present on the occasion.
05-06-2025 10.00 a. m. KCCI celebrated World Environment Day by planting a sapling at the KCCI premises. KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai graced the event by planting the sapling. Present on the occasion were Hon. Secretary, Shri Aditya Padmanabha Pai, Director, Ms. M. Athmika Amin, Past Hon. Treasurer Shri Ahmad Bawa, staff of KCCI & students of St. Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru.
3.00 p. m. A meeting was held at Hotel Vivanta to deliberate on the impact of the recent communal incident in Dakshina Kannada on trade, commerce, and other related aspects. KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai, Vice-President, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar, Hon. Secretaries, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor and Shri Aditya Padmanabha Pai, Directors of KCCI, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed and Shri B. A. Nazeer attended the meeting.
16-06-2025 5.30 p. m. The Second Meeting of the KCCI Conclave – 2025, Sub-Committee of KCCI for the year 2024-25 was convened at the Conference Room of KCCI. The meeting was chaired by Vice-President and the Chairman of the Committee, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar. The meeting was attended by KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai, Hon. Secretaries, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor and Shri Aditya Padmanabha Pai, Directors, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar, Ms. Athmika Amin, Shri Amith Ramachandra Acharya, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed, Shri Vincent Cutina, CA Nandagopal Shenoy and the member of the committee, Smt. Ashrika Amin.
19- 06- 2025 6.00 p. m. Outgoing Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada District, Shri Mullai Muhilan, I.A.S was felicitated at the farewell ceremony organized by various associations of Mangaluru at Hotel Avatar, Mangaluru. KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai addressed the gathering about the contributions of DC to the district. Office Bearers and Directors of KCCI attended the event.
21-06-2025 06.30 p. m. KCCI celebrated its Conclave for the year 2025 at TMA Pai International Convention Centre, Mangaluru. KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai welcomed the guests. Shri Sandeep Kumar Maini, Chairman, Maini Group, Bengaluru was the Speaker on this occasion who addressed the gathering. He was introduced by Vice-President and Convenor of the Conclave, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar. The event was compered by the Past President of KCCI, Smt. Vathika Pai. The vote of thanks was rendered by the Hon. Secretary, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor.
24-06-2025 10.30 a. m. The institution of management and commerce, department of BBA, Srinivas University, under the management forum, organized ‘IGNITIA 2025 – One Spark, Many Voices’, an inaugural event for the various forums and the BBA student council at their campus auditorium. Shri Mytreya A, Chief Operating Officer, KCCI inaugurated the event and pinned the badges for the student council members and also department heads. Dr. Venkatesh Amin, Dean, Prof. Shilpa, HoD and Prof. Yashwini and Prof. Ramitha, the Management Forum Incharge, were present on stage.
27-06-2025 7.00 p. m. The Chairman of New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) hosted the Stakeholders Interaction with Shri TK. Ramachandran, IAS, Hon’ble Secretary to Govt. of India, Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways at Hotel Vivanta, Mangaluru. NMPA Chairman, Dr. Venkata Ramana Akkaraju, Deputy Chairperson, Ms. S. Shanthi and other dignitaries addressed the gathering. KCCI Director and Chairman of EXIM Cell Committee of KCCI, Shri Jeethan Allen Sequeira and Chief Operating Officer, Shri Mytreya A attended the event. Members of various associations attended the event.

02-07-2025      6.30 p.m

An interactive session on strengthening regional co-operation in the Livestock and Poultry sectors, the CLFMA of India, in association with the Sri Lanka Veterinary Association (SLVA) and the World Poultry Science Association (WPSA), Sri Lanka Branch was hosted at Colombo, SRI LANKA.  KCCI Director, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed participated in the event.

04-07-2025 11.00 a. m. The Department of Labour, Mangaluru division, Govt. of Karnataka organized a meeting in creating awareness against drug abuse and other illegal activities by labourers working in various sectors at Assistant Labour Commissioner’s office, Labour Department, Mangaluru. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Naziya Sulthan, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Mangaluru Division, Mangaluru. Shri B.R. Kumar, Labour Officer, Sub-Division 1, Mangaluru and Smt. Wilma Tauro, Labour Officer, Sub-Division 2, Mangaluru. Civil Contractors Associaiton, KCCI, Kanara Industries Association (KIA) and other association members were present in the meeting.  KCCI was represented by its Chief Operating Officer, Shri Mytreya A.
07-07-2025 11.00 a. m. KCCI delegates led by Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar, Vice-President, KCCI called on Capt. Brijesh Chowta, Member of Parliament, Dakshina Kannada District at his office in Circuit House, Mangaluru. Vice-President briefed about Brand Mangaluru, one of the key focus areas of KCCI for the year. Ms. Athmika Amin, Director and Head of Brand Mangaluru, explained the plans taken by KCCI on the subject and invited him in launching the said event. He was also presented the latest journal of KCCI. Shri Aditya Padmanabha Pai, Hon. Secretary of KCCI and Chief Operating Officer, Shri Mytreya A was also present on the occasion.
09-07-2025 1.00 p. m. A Peace Meeting was convened at the Netravati Hall of the Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat, chaired by the Hon’ble Home Minister of Karnataka, Shri G. Parameshwara. Distinguished dignitaries present on the dais included District In-charge Minister, Shri Dinesh Gundu Rao, Member of Parliament, Capt. Brijesh Chowta, Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada District, Shri Darshan H.V., among others. The meeting brought together political leaders, community representatives, and heads of various organisations for a meaningful dialogue aimed at restoring and strengthening communal harmony in the region. On behalf of the Kanara Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI), Vice-President Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar addressed the gathering. KCCI Chief Operating Officer Shri Mytreya A. was also in attendance.
