22-07-2025–11.30 a. m.–KCCI Board Members had an industrial visit to Cardolite Speciality Chemicals India LLP at Mangalore Special Economic Zone (MSEZ), Mangaluru. Shri Divakar Kadri, General Manager, Cardolite welcomed Shri Anand G. Pai, KCCI President and other Board of Directors. KCCI Hon. Treasurer and Finance Head of Cardolite, CA Abdur Rahman Musba and his team took the KCCI Board on a guided tour of the factory.
23-07-2025–11.00 a. m.–A delegation from KCCI led by President Shri Anand G. Pai, Vice President Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar, Chairman of the GST Sub-Committee, CA Keshava N Ballakuraya, Sub-Committee Member and Former Treasurer of KCCI, Shri Ganesh Bhat and Sub-Committee Member, Shri Abdul Khader Iddya, met senior officials of the Commercial Taxes Department in Mangaluru. The delegation held discussions with Shri Kumara V., Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Administration), Mangaluru, and Shri Lakshmipathi N Naik, Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Enforcement), Mangalore, to address the recent GST notices issued to small traders and vendors by the State GST Department in various parts of Karnataka. The meeting was convened to convey the growing concerns of small businesses and street vendors in the region, particularly regarding the use of UPI transaction data as the basis for issuing such notices.
  4.30 p. m.–The Forth Meeting of the Board of Directors of KCCI for the financial year 2025-26 and the Tenth Meeting of the new Committee was convened at the Board Room of KCCI. Shri Anand G. Pai, President, KCCI chaired the meeting in the presence of other Office Bearers, Directors and special invitees.
24-07-2025–9.30 a. m.–Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Mangaluru organized Infrastructure & Logistics Summit – Pathways to Progress – Enhancing Infrastructure & Connectivity for a Resilent Future at Hotel Vivanta, Mangaluru. The Chief Guest of the summit was Dr Selvakumar S., IAS, Principal Secretary, Commerce & Industries Department, Govt. of Karnataka. KCCI Hon. Treasurer, CA Abdur Rahman Musba and Chief Operating Officer, Shri Mytreya A attended the event.
  4.00 p. m.–Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Kenjar, Mangaluru signs an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with KCCI as part of Industrial-Academia interconnect initiative. The MOU was exchanged between KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai and the Principal and Director of the college, Dr. K.E. Prakash. KCCI Vice-President, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar, Hon. Secretary, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor and Chief Operating Officer of KCCI, Shri Mytreya A was present on the occasion. HOD, Dept. Of MBA, Dr Gayathri B. J., staff and students of the college attended the event.
28-07-2025–4.00 p. m.–The First Meeting of the KCCI Knowledge Centre, Focus Area of KCCI for the year 2024-25 was convened at the President’s Chamber. 29-07-2025–3.00 p. m.–The 84th Mangalore Special Economic Zone Limited (MSEZL) Board meeting was held in MSEZL, Mangaluru in hybrid mode. The meeting was chaired by Shri Vivek C. Tongaonkar, Chairman, MSEZL and Director (Finance) ONGC. KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai attended the meeting virtually.
30-07-2025–10.00 a. m.–Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Mangaluru Chapter organized an exclusive Members’ Meet with Shri P. Ravichandran, Deputy Chairman, CII Southern Region & President – Danfoss India, Danfoss Industries Pvt Ltd. at Banquet Hall, Ajanta Business Centre, Mangaluru. KCCI Vice-President, Shri P. B. Ahmed Mudassar, Director, Ms. M. Athmika Amin, Im. Past President of KCCI, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu and Chief Operating Officer, Shri Mytreya A attended the meet.
31-07-2025–3.00 p. m.–A Preparatory meeting on the celebrations of the Independence Day on August 15, 2025 was held at the Conference Room of Deputy Commissioner’s office, Mangaluru. The meeting was chaired by Shri Darshan H.V., IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Dakshina Kannada District, Mangaluru. Shri Raju K., Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) also addressed the members present in the meeting. Shri Mytreya A., Chief Operating Officer, KCCI attended the meeting.
06-08-2025–10.30 a. m.–The golden jubilee celebration of the Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists’ Union (DKWJU) was celebrated at Townhall, Mangaluru. Former chief minister of Karnataka, Shri D V Sadananda Gowda inaugurated the golden jubilee event and also opened a photo exhibition. Dignitaries unveiled the Madhyama Suvarna Sambhrama souvenir, which was released by former Member of Parliament, D.K Dist., Shri Nalin Kumar Kateel. MLAs Shri Vedavyas Kamath and Dr. Bharath Y. Shetty and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion. KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai was one of the special invitees at the event.
  4.00 p. m.–District’s Single Window meeting was called by Shri Gokuldas Nayak, Joint Director, District Industries Centre, Mangaluru. KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai attended the meeting.
07-08-2025–3.30 p. m.–The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Mangaluru and Kanara Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI), Mangaluru, in association with Kanara Industries Association (KIA) and District Small Industries Association Mangalore (DSIAM), jointly organized an Awareness Programme on SPREE 2025 (Scheme to Promote Registration of Employers and Employees) and ESIC Schemes & Benefits at the Meeting Hall of KCCI. The Chief Guest for the event was Shri Vijayananth A.T, Joint Director, ESIC, SRO, Mangaluru. KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai presented the welcome address. Chairman of Labour sub-committee, Shri Shamlal Yermlal, briefed the audience on the relevance of the session. DSIAM President, Shri Vishal L. Salian introduced the Chief Guest and two other speakers, Shri Hemanatha Kumar K., Social Security Officer, ESIC dept., Mangaluru and Shri P. Maheswara Reddy, Head Clerk, ESIC dept., Mangaluru. The Chief Guest presented his key note address on the SPREE 2025 scheme. Other speakers also elaborated on SPREE and ESIC schemes. KCCI Vice-President, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar, KCCI Hon. Secretary, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor, Directors, Shri B.A. Nazeer and Shri Amith Ramachandra Acharya were also present on the occasion. 09-08-2025–10.30 a. m.–The launch of Home Coming platform, an initiative of getting back experienced professionals with coastal Karnataka connections to find meaningful opportunities in this region was held at Cuboid, wrkwrk Mindspace, Mangaluru. The event was attended by KCCI Hon. Secretary, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor, Directors, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar, Shri Ashith B. Hegde and Ms. M. Athmika Amin.
10-08-2025–7.30 a. m.–Members of Mangalore Runners club as part of their Heritage Run visited KCCI Trade History Gallery. Ar. Niren Jain gave them a detailed Tour of the Gallery. KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai and Hon. Secretary, Shri Aditya Padmanabha Pai was also present on the occasion.
12-08-2025–5.30 p. m.–The First Meeting of the Accounts & Audit Sub-Committee of KCCI for the year 2024-25 was convened at the Conference Room of KCCI. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of committee, CA Gautham Nayak. The meeting was attended by KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai, Vice-President, Shri P. B. Ahmed Mudassar, Hon. Treasurer, CA Abdur Rahman Musba, Hon. Secretaries, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor and Shri Aditya Padmanabha Pai and other members of the committee, CA Prasanna Shenoy and CA Chandrakant Rao. 15-08-2025–8.30 a. m.–KCCI Celebrated the 79th Independence Day at KCCI Premises.  KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai hoisted  the flag and addressed the members present.  KCCI Directors, Past Presidents, staff of KCCI and students of    St. Aloysius College (Deemed to be University) participated in the event.
19-08-2025–9.30 a. m.–KCCI held a Press Meet at Mangaluru Press Club to brief the media about KCCI’s initiative, ‘Elevate Brand Mangaluru’. KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai addressed the members of press on the subject. KCCI Director and Head of ‘Elevate Brand Mangaluru’, Ms. M. Athmika Amin invited the media persons for the upcoming Creators’ Meet and also the launch of ‘Elevate Brand Mangaluru’ later in the week. Also present in the meet were KCCI Vice-President, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar, Hon. Secretary, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor, Director, Shri Sujir Prasad Nayak and Chief Operating Officer, Shri Mytreya A.
20-08-2025–3.00 p. m.–As part of the launch of ‘Elevate Brand Mangaluru’, KCCI organized the Creators’ Meet at the KCCI Meeting Hall. KCCI President Shri Anand G. Pai welcomed the delegates, while Ms. M. Athmika Amin, KCCI Director and Head of ‘Elevate Brand Mangaluru’, briefed the audience about the upcoming launch event. On stage were KCCI Vice-President, Shri P. B. Ahmed Mudassar; Hon. Secretaries, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor and Shri Aditya Padmanabha Pai. Others present included KCCI Directors Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar, Shri B. A. Nazeer, Shri Sujir Prasad Nayak; Past President Smt. Vathika Pai; and Ar. Niren Jain, Chairman of Infrastructure & Urban Development and Smart City Committee. 6.30 p. m.–The Fifth Meeting of the Board of Directors of KCCI for the financial year 2025-26 and the Eleventh Meeting of the Committee was convened at “Orchid”, Thyme Restaurant, Mangaluru. Shri Anand G. Pai, President, KCCI chaired the meeting in the presence of other Office Bearers, Directors and special invitees.
21-08-2025–3.00 p. m.–The Third Meeting of the Infrastructure and Urban Development and Smart City Sub-Committee of KCCI was convened at the Meeting Hall of KCCI. Faculty & students from School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) Bhopal, (Urban & Regional Planning) shared their preliminary insights on Mangaluru’s infrastructure, Urban planning and sought KCCI’s perspectives on the city’s future. The Chairman of the committee, Ar. Niren Jain welcomed the delegates from the college. KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai, Vice-President, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar and Hon. Secretary, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor were on stage. Also present on the occasion were, KCCI Past President, Shri Isaac Vas and Shri Rohit Bhat from WrkWrk.
23-08-2025–5.00 p. m.–KCCI officially unveiled its flagship focus for the year, “Elevate Brand Mangaluru”. This multi-phase initiative was aimed at showcasing Mangaluru’s immense potential to a global audience. The Chief Guests on the occasion were, Shri U.T. Khader, Speaker, Karnataka Legislative Assembly and Capt. Brijesh Chowta, Member of Parliament, Dakshina Kannada Dist. Shri Anand G Pai, President, KCCI welcomed the gathering and set the tone for the launch event. Ms. M. Athmika Amin, Director and Chairperson of ‘Elevate Brand Mangaluru’, KCCI digitally launched phase 1 of ‘Elevate Brand Mangaluru’. Directors of KCCI, members from media, social influencers and other delegates were present on the occasion.
