11-04-2021 8.30 a. m.   KCCI President Shri Isaac Vas was the Chief Guest to inaugurate the Cricket tournament organized by Business Network International (BNI) in Mangalore.
19-04-2021   10.00 a.m   Review Meeting was held at District Commissioner office, Mangaluru chaired by        Shri Nalin Kumar Kateel, Member of Parliament, Dakshina Kannada on issues related to various projects undertaken by Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) & Mangaluru Smart City Limites (MSCL), issues related to various administrative reforms and issues related to various policy formulation. Shri Isaac Vas, President, KCCI and Shri Shashidhar Pai Maroor, Vice-President, KCCI attended the meeting.
22-04-2021       KCCI President Shri Isaac Vas attended the meeting held at District Commissioner office, Mangaluru with regard to Covid restrictions and guidelines set by the government.
08-05-2021   01.00 p.m   Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate’s Office (DDMA) conducted meeting at Deputy Commissioner Office, Mangaluru to discuss the revised SoPs for the major industries of Dakshina Kannada District during Covid – 19 lockdown under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and Chairman, DDMA, Dakshina Kannada District. KCCI was represented by the Vice-President Shri Shashidhar Pai Maroor.

  Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) organized virtual Interactive Session with Shri Jagadish Shetter, Hon’ble Minister for Large and Medium Scale Industries, Government of Karnataka. KCCI was represented by its President Shri Isaac Vas who briefed the minister about the impact of lockdown towards industries due to Covid 19 in Dakshina Kannada District.
13-05-2021       KCCI President Shri Isaac Vas hands over the cheque of Rs. 7.50 lakh drawn in favour of Deputy Commissioner, Dakshina Kannada District, at D.C office, Mangaluru from the KCCI President’s Fund towards Contribution for installation of Oxygen Generation Plant at Lady Goschen Government Hospital, Mangaluru. The cheque was handed to Shri Nalin Kumar Kateel, M.P, Dakshina District. Vice President Shri Shashidhar Pai Maroor was also present in the event.
14-05-2021   11.30 a.m   Charitable Trusts – Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi through Ishwarambha Trust and Rotary Club of Mangalore presented the cheques totalling of Rs. 7 lakh to the Deputy Commissioner Dr. K. V. Rajendra at D.C office, Mangaluru. KCCI had facilitated the same. KCCI President Shri Isaac Vas, Past President of KCCI Shri Srinivas Kamath,    Shri M. Padmanabha Pai, Chairman, Ishwarambha Trust and Rtn. Archibald Menezes President Rotary Club of Mangalore were present.
20-05-2021   12.30 p.m   Our affiliated body D.K. Automobile & Tyre Dealers’ Association presented the cheque of Rs. 1 lakh to the Deputy Commissioner Dr. K. V. Rajendra at D.C office, Mangaluru. KCCI had facilitated the same. KCCI Vice President and Treasurer of D.K. Automobile & Tyre Dealers’ Association Shri Shashidhar Pai Maroor, President of D.K. Automobile & Tyre Dealers’ Association Shri Kasturi Prabhakar Pai, Secretary of  D.K. Automobile & Tyre Dealers’ Association Shri K Vilas Kumar were present.
24-05-2021   04.00 p.m   Tariff Authority for Major Ports, Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India organized a joint hearing through Video Conference with regard to the proposal from the New Mangalore Port Trust for fixation of user charges for utilization of fire fighting facility  at Berth No. 9 installed and operated by M/s. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. KCCI Director and Hon. Secretary Shri Abdur Rahman Musba attended the hearing.

  Coastal Vision Group meeting was held through Video Conference. The meeting was chaired by Shri K. Ullas Kamath, Chairman of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Karnataka State Council, Joint Managing Director of Jyothy Labs, Mumbai. KCCI President Shri Isaac Vas, Past President of KCCI Smt. Vathika Pai, Director of KCCI Shri Nandagopal Shenoy who are part of the coastal vision group attended the meeting. The Coastal Vision Group presented its proposals to be suggested to Govt. of Karnataka on tourism, medical tourism and fisheries in Coastal Karnataka.
01-06-2021   03.00 p.m   KCCI submitted the memorandum on ‘Appeal to consider relaxing the restrictions post 07th June, 2021 to keep business afloat’ to the District In-charge Minister Shri Kota Srinivas Poojary at Dakshina Kannada Jilla Panchayat office, Mangaluru. KCCI was represented by the Vice President Shri Shashidhar Pai Maroor and Hon. Secretary Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed.
10-06-2021   08.30 a.m   An Interactive Session with Shri Bhaskar Rao IPS, The Additional Director General of Police for Railways and Former Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City was organized by KCCI for its members at Hotel Ocean Pearl, Mangaluru. The Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru Shri N. Shashi Kumar also addressed the members. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Shri Hariram Shankar, Chairman of International Affairs & CSR Committee of Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), Bengaluru Dr. V.G Kiran Kumar were also present.
