The delegation held discussions with Shri Kumara V., Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Administration), Mangaluru, and Shri Lakshmipathi N Naik, Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Enforcement), Mangalore, to address the recent GST notices issued to small traders and vendors by the State GST Department in various parts of Karnataka. The meeting was convened to convey the growing concerns of small businesses and street vendors in the region, particularly regarding the use of UPI transaction data as the basis for issuing such notices.

Dignitaries unveiled the Madhyama Suvarna Sambhrama souvenir, which was released by former Member of Parliament, D.K Dist., Shri Nalin Kumar Kateel. MLAs Shri Vedavyas Kamath and Dr. Bharath Y. The meeting was co-chaired by Shri Sagar Mehra, Joint Secretary (Inland Fisheries), Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, and Ms. Neetu Prasad, Joint Secretary (Marine Fisheries), Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India. The meeting was convened to deliberate on the impact of the reciprocal tariff imposed by the United States and to discuss potential relief measures.  A detailed discussion was held on the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah-Yojana (PMMKSSY), a Central Sector Sub-Scheme under PMMSY & Fisheries and Aquaculture Development Fund (FIDF).   The deliberations focused on both immediate relief and long-term strategies to support the aquaculture sector.

A memorandum was submitted to the office on the grievances received from the KCCI members.
