The event was presided over by the President, Women’s National Education Society (WNES), Shri Manel Annappa Nayak. Also present on stage was Director, MSNIM, Dr. Molly S. Chaudhuri. KCCI Past President, Smt. Vathika Pai was also present on the occasion. The occasion marks the 111th birth anniversary of Shri Manel Srinivas Nayak, a distinguished educationist and former President of KCCI, after whom MSNIM is named.

Dr. Sanu Jacob, Director, FSSAI spoke on the topic, Regulatory Compliance, Dr. K. Narayanan, Founder, Director, Sthayika Seeds Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru spoke on the topic, Technological Aspects of a Successful Food Industry and Arvind Modi, Partner, Sathguru Catalysers, Hyderabad, addressed the gathering on Startup and Funding Ecosystem for Food Industry. Dr. Iddya Karunasagar, Advisor (Research & Patents), Nitte University, Mangaluru was the moderator for the panel discussion. KCCI Hon. Secretary, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor, Directors, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed and Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar were also present on the occasion. KCCI held its valedictory ceremony on the successful completion of 27 hours of 1st Batch of Comprehensive GST Training Program held from 23rd February, 2024 to 23rd March, 2024 at the Meeting Hall of KCCI. Accounting professionals from various companies and job seekers actively participated in large numbers for the training. All the trainers were Chartered Accountants with extensive knowledge and experience in various fields. A practical session on Tally was also conducted at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) lab in Mangaluru. KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu congratulated all the participants on successfully completing the training program. Chairman of the GST sub-committee of KCCI, CA Keshava Ballakuraya re-iterated some of the challenges faced in GST related works with case studies and suggested suitable remedies. All the participants were presented with the certificates. CA Sabana and CA Shraddha Sanghvi, present on the occasion, addressed the participants. Participants shared their feedback and also suggested that they look forward to more training programmes. Hon. Secretary, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar rendered the vote of thanks.
