The Office of the Member of Parliament, Dakshina Kannada, in association with the Kanara Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI), Mangaluru, organized a Roundtable Discussion titled “West Coast India to West Asia – Charting a Mangaluru–Israel Trade Roadmap” at the KCCI Meeting Hall, Bunder, Mangaluru. The Chief Guests for the programme were Ms. Orli Weitzman, Consul General of Israel in Bengaluru (Consular Jurisdiction over Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and the Union Territory of Puducherry), and Captain Brijesh Chowta, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Dakshina Kannada. The Guest of Honour was Shri D. Vedavyas Kamath, Hon’ble Member of the Legislative Assembly, Mangaluru South. Shri P. B. Ahmed Mudassar, President of KCCI presented the welcome address. Ms. Orli Weitzman, addressed the gathering. Members from key industries participated in the event. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by the Hon. Secretary of KCCI, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor. Also present on stage, KCCI Vice-President, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar.
