Shri P. B. Ahmed Mudassar, President of KCCI, was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Dr. Venkatesh Amin, Dean, along with other dignitaries, faculty members, and participants, were present at the inaugural session.

Keni, Dean (Academic), delivered the welcome address. Shri P. B. Ahmed Mudassar, President of KCCI, attended the meeting. Shri Prasanna H., IAS, Director, DTE, Bengaluru, and Chairman of the Governing Board, delivered the Presidential address. | 04.00 p. m. | – | KCCI organized an awareness session on the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme at the KCCI Meeting Hall. Shri P. B. Ahmed Mudassar, President, KCCI, delivered the welcome address. Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar, Vice-President, KCCI, introduced the Chief Guest and the speaker to the audience. Smt. Dhanalakshmi D. N., Assistant Director of Agriculture (HQ), Office of the Joint Director of Agriculture, Dakshina Kannada, Mangaluru, was the Chief Guest and presented the introductory remarks on the scheme. The session was conducted by Dr. A. A. Fazal, Food Scientist and Retired Professor, and District Resource Person (Dakshina Kannada), who also briefed the participants on the Pradhan Mantri Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and the National Livestock Mission (NLM). Entrepreneurs and budding entrepreneurs actively participated in the programme. Aruna Industries sponsored the event. Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor, Honorary Secretary, KCCI, and CA Nandagopal Shenoy, Director, KCCI, and President of World Konkani Kendra, Mangaluru, also paid floral tributes by garlanding the bust. Members of various associations were present on the occasion.

The meeting was chaired by Shri Kumara V, Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Admin). Also present in the meeting were Shri Lakshapathi Narayana Naik, Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Enforcement), Shri Sanjay Balipa, Asst. Commissioner, Head Quarters, GST and Shri R M Gogery, Assistant commissioner, Appeals. Shri P. B. Ahmed Mudassar, President – KCCI welcomed the delegates for the meeting. | 23-12-2025 | – | 09.00 a. m. | – | KCCI and the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Mangaluru Chapter, jointly organized a one-day seminar on “Understanding the Labour Codes and Its Implications – Practical Insights to Transition from the Old Labour Laws to the New Labour Codes” at The Hotel Ocean Pearl, Mangaluru. The seminar was inaugurated by Captain Brijesh Chowta, Member of Parliament, Dakshina Kannada District, in the presence of Shri P. B. Ahmed Mudassar, President, KCCI; Shri Prabhoda K. S., Chairman, NIPM – Mangaluru Chapter; and the speakers for the event, Shri S. K. Gupta, Solicitor and Advocate, Supreme Court of India, New Delhi, and Shri Govindaraju N. S., author and labour law and industry expert. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from participants across various industries and professions, including manufacturing and service sectors, advocates, chartered accountants, and labour law consultants.
