26-07-2023 3.30 p. m. Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) were signed by KCCI with Canara Engineering College and Sharada College, Mangaluru at the Conference Room of KCCI. KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath delivered the welcome address. KCCI President exchanged the MoUs between Dr. Ganesh V. Bhat, Principal, Canara Engineering College and Dr. Meena J Panikker, Principal, Sharada College. KCCI Director and Incharge of Industry-Academia Interconnect, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar spoke on the occasion. Also present on the occasion were KCCI Director, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed and Chief Operating Officer, Shri Mytreya A. Others present from the colleges were Dr. Venkatesh N., Professor & Dean – Accreditation & Extension Activities, Canara Engineering College and Shri Suraj M Devadiga, Assistant Professor & Placement Officer, Sharada College. KCCI Hon. Secretary, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar proposed the vote of thanks.
27-07-2023 3.00 p. m. Office of the Senior Post Postmaster, Mangaluru Head Post Office conducted Post Forum meeting at their Mangaluru Head Post Office (HPO). The meeting was chaired by Shri Srinath Basroor, Senior Post Master, Mangaluru Head Office. Shri K. Surendra Prabhu, representing member from KCCI attended this meeting.
05-08-2023 _ 11.00 a. m. KCCI Clerk cum Typist, Ms. Juliana Miranda who rendered 28 years of service at KCCI was given a farewell send off at the Conference room of KCCI. KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath congratulated on her dedicated service to the organization. KCCI Vice President CA Ananthesh Prabhu, Past President Smt. Vathika Pai, Past Treasurer Shri Ahmed Bawa, Chief Operating Officer Shri Mytreya A spoke on the occasion and wished the outgoing staff good health and happiness. Also present were KCCI Hon. Secretary, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar, Directors, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed, Shri Jeethan Sequeira and the staff members of KCCI.

KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath delivered the welcome address. KCCI President exchanged the MoU with Dr Arun A Bhagwath, Principal, Dean, Faculty of Science, YIASCM. KCCI Director and Incharge of Industry-Academia Interconnect, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar spoke on the occasion. Also present on the occasion were KCCI Vice President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu, Hon. Secretary, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar, Director, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed, Past President of KCCI, Smt. Vathika Pai, Past Hon. Treasurer of KCCI, Shri Ahmed Bawa and Chief Operating Officer Shri Mytreya A. 6.00 p. m. KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath was the Chief Guest at Toastmasters International Mangalore Club’s, ‘Adunatio’ installation ceremony which was held at Ajanta Business Centre, Bejai Kapikad, Mangaluru.
06-08-2023 8.30 a. m Divisional Railway Manager, Phalghat Division, Shri Mukund R Ramaswany invited KCCI representative member of Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committees (DRUCC), Shri Ahmed Bawa at Mangaluru Central Railway Station to brief about the Laying of Foundation Stones for Redevelopment of 508 Railway Stations to be held at Mangaluru Junction railway station. Also present was member, DRUCC, Shri Hanumath Kamath.
11.00 a. m. Laying of Foundation Stones for Redevelopment of 508 Railway Stations (under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme) was organized by Chairman & CEO, Railway Board, Ministry of Railways. The Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the event through video conference in the august presence of Union Minister of Railways, Communications, Electronics & Information Technology, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw. The event was also physically held at Mangaluru Junction Railway Station which has been selected under the redevelopment scheme. MP, Shri Nalin Kumar Kateel, Mangaluru South MLA, Shri Vedavyas Kamath, Mangaluru North MLA, Shri Bharath Shetty, Mayor of Mangaluru, Shri Jayanand Anchan, MLC, Shri Kota Srinivas Poojary and other dignitaries were present on stage. KCCI representative member of DRUCC, Shri Ahmed Bawa attended the event.
10-08-2023 _ 10.00 a. m. Shri Rohit Bhat, MD and CEO, 99Games and the President of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) Bangalore called on KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath at KCCI President’s office, Mangaluru. He discussed about the KDEM (Karnataka Digital Economy Mission) Road Show in Saudi Arabia on 7th September, 2023 and invited KCCI to be part of the event. Others present in the meeting were Shri Vinod, TiE Community, Shri Sudarshan Pai, Operations Manager, Rohit Bhat Family Office and Shri Mukesh S, Program Manager BB – Mangaluru Cluster, KDEM.
11.30 a. m. Dakshina Kannada District Tourism Development Committee meeting was held at the Court Hall of Deputy Commissioner’s office, Mangaluru. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada District, Shri Mullai Muhilan. KCCI was represented by the Chairperson of the Airlines, Airport & Tourism sub-committee of KCCI and Past President of KCCI, Smt. Vathika Pai.
3.30 p. m. Office of the Commissioner of Customs, New Customs House, Mangaluru held their 6thPermanent Trade Facilitation Committee (PTFC) meeting at the Conference Hall of the office of Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Mangaluru. KCCI Hon. Treasurer, CA Abdur Rahman Musba attended the meeting.
11-08-2023 3.30 p. m. Awareness programme on ESI Schemes was organized by KCCI for its members at the KCCI Meeting Hall, Mangaluru. KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath presented the Welcome address. KCCI Hon. Secretary, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar introduced the Chief Guest, the Social Security Officer, Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), SRO, Mangaluru, Shri Rohit Kumar who addressed the members on ESI schemes and benefits. Also present on stage was KCCI Labour sub-committee Chairman, Shri Shamlal Yermal. KCCI Director, Shri Vincent Cutina and other members from various organizations attended the session. KCCI Vice-President CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu rendered the vote of thanks. Yenepoya Specialty Hospital, Kodialbail, Mangaluru was the event partner.
15-08-2023 8.30 a. m. 77thIndependence Day was celebrated at KCCI. President of KCCI, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath hoisted the national flag. Event was attended by KCCI Vice President CA Ananthesh V. 17-08-2023 3.00 p. m. Kaigarika Spandana meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Mangaluru. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Dakshina Kannada District, Shri Mullai Muhilan. KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath and Director, Ms. Athmika Amin attended the meeting.
18-08-2023 11.00 a. m 162ndDivisional Railway Users’ Consultative Committee (DRUCC) meeting was held at Valluvanad Meeting Hall, Division Office, Palakkad. The meeting was chaired by Divisional Railway Manager, Phalghat Division, Shri Mukund R Ramaswany along with Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and all related officials of DRUCC. KCCI representative member of DRUCC, Shri Ahmed Bawa attended the meeting.
22-08-2023 4.30 p. m. The Fifth Meeting of the Board of Directors of KCCI for the financial year 2023-24 and the Eleventh Meeting of the present committee of KCCI was held at the Boardroom of KCCI. Shri M. Ganesh Kamath, President, KCCI chaired the meeting in the presence of Office Bearers, Directors and special invitees.
23-08-2023 _ 11.30 a. m. Director of Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) and Past President of Gadag Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Shri R. B. Danappa Goudar along with Director of FKCCI and Past President of Raichur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), Shri Trivikram Joshi met KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath at KCCI office to invite the Board members for the State-Level Conference of the District Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly hosted by the FKCCI and RCCI to be held at Raichur on 2nd and 3rd September, 2023. Vice President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu, Directors, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar and Shri Amit Ramachandra were also present on the occasion.
24-08-2023 _ 10.30 a. m. KCCI facilitated Industrial visits to the MBA students of Alvas Institute of Engineering and Technology, Moodabidri at Achal Group of Industries, Baikampady, Mangaluru as part of Industry Academia interconnect initiative. The students were taken around the cashew factory and briefed about the manufacturing and other operating procedures.
25-08-2023 03.30 p. m. KCCI organized a seminar on ‘Enhancing Your Business Strategies’ at The Ocean Pearl, Mangaluru. KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath presented the welcome address. KCCI Directors, Shri Aditya Pai and Shri Amit Ramachandra introduced the speakers to the audience. Shri CA Naveen Narayan, Practicing Chartered Accountant, Mangaluru spoke on topic, ‘Leveraging Business Accounts for Empowering Business Entity’ and Prof. Venkatesh S. Amin, Dean, Institute of Management & Commerce, Director – MDP Programs, Srinivas University, Mangaluru presented the audience on the topic, ‘Overcoming Business Operational Challenges’. KCCI Directors, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed and Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar were also present on the occasion. Canara Bank was the title sponsor for the event. Euro Kids, SL Shet Jewellers & Diamond House and IDBI bank were the sponsors for the event. The vote of thanks was rendered by Hon. Secretary, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar.
28-08-2023 11.30 a.m KCCI President, Shri M. Ganesh Kamath met the Small Scale Industries Minister, Shri Sharanabasappa Darshanapur at Circuit House, Mangaluru. He briefed him about the KCCI role towards the trade and commerce in the region and also brought to his notice some of the issues faced by MSMEs. Present on the occasion were KCCI Vice President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu, Hon. Secretary, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar and Past President of KCCI, Shri G G Mohandas Prabhu.
